I have an assignment where we have to cook something healthy that will appeal to young adolescents for home economics. I only have an hour 10 mins to make it so i need something that will be quick, look delicious and include most of the better food groups. My sister loves the Jello poke cake, so I was going to make it for her (The cake where you poke holes into it and pour jello over it and allow it to set up). The last time I had it we used a tub of plain cool whip as the topping. I liked this, but thought it was a little plain. Since then I have read that you can used cool whip mixed with sour cream OR cool whip mixed with instant pudding. Has anyone tried any of these alternatives and, if so, how did it turn out?

I marinated a rack for 24 hours and that did not do it....

I heard partly boiling them first helps...

On the packaging it says how many calories for it dry, but not when it is cooked. Is there a difference?
