Trim "beard" from flower end of corn. Keep the husk on.
Bring water to a boil in a pot large enough to submerge the corn. Add approximately 1/2 cup of milk, 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt for every quart of water used. Place corn into boiling milk and water mixture, shut the heat, and keep covered for 1/2 hour.
Place corn on oiled grill set at a medium flame. Turn 1/4 turn every 5 minutes. Serve with butter or your favorite corn topping. Keep some paper bags at tableside so that your guests can shuck the corn themselves. The husk comes off very easily when prepared this way.

easy. Just put the corn on the grill for about 15 minutes with the lid closed. Make sure it is not directly over the flame. Then turn it around and let it cook another 5 minutes. Comes out really good. I like to put it over a flame for a minute or two for that extra taste, after it is cooked.

Two ways.
Peel back the husk but don't pull off. Remove silk and pull the husk back up. Place on grill turning 1/3 as the husk starts to burn slightly.
Peel and remove silk. Stir soy sauce and olive oil together. Brush on corn and grill turning about every 3 minutes.
Both ways I have fairly hot charcoal.

Soak your corn interior the husk for 20 minutes. Then peel back the husk (do no longer get rid of!) and get rid of the silk. soften butter and upload garlic powder and parmasean cheese. combination it jointly. Slather the corn with the combination and placed peel husk back as much as conceal the corn. Tie the top of the corn with moist string, and place on the grill for 20 minutes, turning each and every 5 minutes. I made this only the different day and it became into ideas-blowing. all of us on the occasion enjoyed it!

xt286 gave you the right information. I like to leave it long enough so the husks actually char. This really brings out the natural sugar in the kernels. It's fantastic.

Remove the leaf and beard. Smear with butter. Put on the edge of the griddle and turn fairly frequently.
