Cooking & Recipes - June 2007

During the summer, my friends are going to want to come to my house. Of course, there going to be hungry.
Most of the time, i never cook. i use the microwave.
I want to start cooking for my friends.

Do you know any good, easy, fun, GREAT TASTING food i can make when i will have at least 5 friends over?
(Im looking for actual meals that are ment for dinner and lunch.

i have like some shrimp and lots of veggies. (tomatoes, celery those kinds of things, unfortunitly no onions or peppers but i might be able to go get some.) and a columbo loaf of breaad. thick french bread. anyway, i want to cook a fast good dinner. got any ideas??

What you need makes 12
-Spoon
-Magic Shell Chocolate Sauce. [near chocolate syrup in stores]
-Marshmallow Fluff
-Small Shallow Dish
-Mellon Baller
-Tray
-Serving Tray


What to do:
1]Shake and poor 1/2 [stir every 30 seconds] the chocolate shell syrup in the dish.
2]Take your mellon baller and scoop out 12 balls.
3]Put them on the tray.
4] Poor the chocolate sauce on the balls
5]Let them dry, chill, them serve


OPTIONAL: Try adding strawberries on the tray or a mint leaf on each one.




ENJOY..

While I was growing up my aunt use to always make this kind of sauce for her spaghetti.She is not around anymore and I would like to try and make it but I do not know the measurements or all the ingredients.I know that it didn't have any veggie's in it just the meat and sauce.And I know it had sugar and red wine in it.Has anyone seen a recipe like this,and the measurements would have to be enough for 8.Thank you in advance!!!

Hi! I need an answer by 4:00 Central time b/c that's when I'm going out to get the ingredients, so that's about 40 minutes! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me your best recipe for any kind of dessert/pastry. It doesn't have to be simple, just no odd ingredients (i.e. I won't make cookies with sour cream in them).
