same ingredient, same recipe!
I have this great recipe for banana muffins (makes 8)and want to turn it into a loaf tea cake (9 x 5) but I dont know how to adjust my baking time for this. I am reluctant to constantly check on it because I heard that as I open the oven door it lets heat inside so its harder to get correct temperature. Expert bakers please help me!

original calls for 375F - 20min
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas
3/4 cup salt
1 egg
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup butter

I only like to cook simple and quick meals. I'm not much of a cook but I do like to eat on the healthy side.

is it very important to completely thaw it all the way thru ? and if so, WHY?

I realize it may cook unevenly, but is it okay for, like, a crock pot recipe where it's going to cook all day anyway?
