I need to take this to my daughter's pre school Easter celebration.
Nothing too fancy, but I don't want to be totally boring, either!

My sister does the easiest and most requested dip at gatherings. You take a block of cream cheese. Put in a bowl or plate with a 1/2 lip/side at least. Pour over 1 jar of Major Grey's Mango Chutney. That's it. Serve with crackers, carrots, celery sticks, etc. This tastes so good and is so simple. you can use low fat cream cheese also. I tried it with fat free and the texture wasn't as pleasant, but you can alter any way you want. It's fantastic and works chilled or room temp. For little kids, you can mixed it up in a processor so it won't be drippy and let them scoop it out with the crackers and veggie sticks. It's sweet and creamy.

Get some of those Toppers crackers, they are awesome. If you can't find those, get whatever you normally use.

Do an oval plate if possible and cover the surface with the toppers and have alternating rings of crackers. Outer ring covered with cheddar only, next ring with swiss only, continue with whatever colors you think looks the best. Then have a container of something in the middle, like a dip of some kind. Make sure to have a basket of the remaining crackers for dipping purposes.

Good luck!

you can get a cheese tray from your grocery store and then buy wheat thins or triscuits, or any other kind of cracker. the cheese tray usually come with grapes and a green garnishment to make them pretty. it simple and probably cheaper than actually making one yourself.
