Yes depending on how many are snacking. Core and cute into thin slices and pieces, this is so they will cook very quickly in the microwave, in a dish put the tiny cut pieces of apples, with a few tablespoons of margarine or butter, and some cinnamon and sugar. Just enough Sugar to completely coat the apples and some left over, and enough cinnamon to cover all the pieces, taste as you sprinkle. Put these in the microwave and cook for approx 3 mins, keep an eye on them in case they cook faster, or add time if they are not done, you are looking for the apples to be very soft and all the mixture melted, add butter sugar and cinnamon so there is enough sauce around the apple pieces, this mixture can be poured over ice cream, vanilla cake, pancakes, cottage cheese or anything you think you would like. My families favorite is to pour over home made crepes and cover generously with full flavor whip cream.

All you need to do is batter and deep fry Granny Smith apple pieces that have been cut into french-fry strips. And it has to be Granny Smith apples (the green, tart apples), other apples will be too mushy to fry, and you won't get that tang.
I don't know the recipe for the vanilla cream, but I would just melt some vanilla ice cream. In fact, I would add caramel sauce.
