same ingredient, same recipe!
I have this great recipe for banana muffins (makes 8)and want to turn it into a loaf tea cake (9 x 5) but I dont know how to adjust my baking time for this. I am reluctant to constantly check on it because I heard that as I open the oven door it lets heat inside so its harder to get correct temperature. Expert bakers please help me!

original calls for 375F - 20min
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas
3/4 cup salt
1 egg
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup butter

opening the door cools off the oven, it does not heat it up. When you want to bake something longer then you need to lower the temperature. I would lower the temp to at least 350F probably even as low as 325F and check it after about 30 minutes.

my banana bread recipe calls for baking at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes and is basically the same ingredients you have for your muffins. enjoy!

my best guess is about 45 minutes - but it will depend on your oven. i would check after 35-40 minutes.
