I am making Chicken Tortilla Soup, and I really did just a pinch of chili powder, and it's hot! Also, my stewed tomatoes have chilis in them.. that doesn't help. It's a HUGE pot, what can I do without wasting it all?

My mum bought some because... well, I'm not really sure why, and she wants to know what to do with it.

She tried putting it in gravy, that didn't work too well, and she had it on fish and chips as well. There must be some better way to use it, or else why would it be so expensive?

We have stir frys and omlettes and things involving rice fairly often, would it work in that?

I have 1 1/2 packs of OSCAR Smokies I don't know what to do with. I slow cooked some in BBQ sauce a few weeks ago. It turned out great, but I need a recipe that doesn't call for BBQ sauce. I've got all kinds of veggies, spices, etc. Anything I don't have, the store is a min. away.

I'm also looking for something similar to the Hershey's Cookies N Cream candy. I have Oreo's and white chocolate, but I'm not sure if I need to put something else in it.

I just graduated from Culinary school about 2 1/2 years ago. I have worked in the restaurant industry for about 3. The executive Chef at my job wants to promote me as a Sous Chef making salary instead of the $12.00 / hr I make right now. However, the Chef de Cuisine is very supportive, but suggests that I may not be ready to take a step up to that level of promotion due to lack of experience and knowledge.

My take on it is, who wouldn't be ready to take $35,000 a year starting, rather than $12.00 an hour? I just want to be sure I'm making the right career choice. My goal, after all, is to be a very successful chef.

Do you believe that? Is the recipe has change a little, if yes, what? What is added, or taken away? Is the presentation changes? Do you think it'll be there after 500 years, will it changes a little bit, how?

My pregnancy craving is pineapple and cream cheese sandwiches (not pie, not balls, etc). I can't seem to find a recipe for plain ole pineapple and cream cheese sandwich spread anywhere online. Does anything else go in the mixture (sugar maybe)? And how much pineapple and cream cheese goes in?

I'm afraid of most cooking appliances and stoves.. of things splashing, burning, etc. especially since we have a gas range I HATE that thing I can NOT turn it on..

What would be the best appliance for me to cook things like meat, chicken, beef, sausage, etc. also rice, vegetables, potato dishes, etc.

Any tips for me?

I know my fears are unreasonable.. but I can't help it.. please offer me COOKING tips not fear tips..

Should I get a cooktop, hot plate, an electric wok, an electric skillet, etc. etc. ?? which ones ??

Recipes I can cook easily without using things that scare me ?

THANKS! =)
