I am making Chicken Tortilla Soup, and I really did just a pinch of chili powder, and it's hot! Also, my stewed tomatoes have chilis in them.. that doesn't help. It's a HUGE pot, what can I do without wasting it all?

Try adding a little flour which may thicken slighty or heavy cream. If neither of those work for your type of soup then try chicken stock

Chili powder hot? Dissagree but whatever, Try topping w/ sour cream over sliced cheese.
Bowl the soup cover w/ a mild chedder slice just shy of edges, broil in oven till cheese browns slightly and put a healthy gobb of sour cream on top, dust the cream w/ fresh chives or scallions.

Add a couple tablespoonfuls of sugar. Even when I want my soup hot I always add some sugar. Adding a cubed potato will also help to absorb some of the heat.

Add some sugar. In India, the family often have a bowl of sugar on the table which they dip their fingers in while eating. This clams the heat of the curry/dish thy are eating.
I often add too much chilli in my cooking, sugar works every time and you dont taste the sweetness

Cream, yoghurt or creme fraiche would take the heat out of it. Like a tablespoon in each plate.
