My stove is shut off, so I am trying to find ways to cook eggs. Also, can you cook eggs in the microwave? Please remember to answer both questions. THanks.

I will not have people every 10 days to share the starter with. So, would like to maintain a much smaller amount so I could bake a loaf and continue one starter.

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in making a tiramisu cake for my 21st birthday, and I believe that all will go according to plan (as long as I have my mind made up as to which tiramisu cake to make).

So, I'm a 20 year old male looking to bake my first tiramisu cake, and so long as everything, all the ingredients, is there, I should have no trouble baking my first cake. However, the rub lies therein! Which tiramisu cake should I bake?

Familiar with allrecipes.com? Use the search engine to find tiramisu cake, there you'll find: Classic tiramisu cake, tiramisu cheesecake, tiramisu layer cake (an allrecipes cookbook recipe), and tiramisu II.

Which of these would go best with a meaty cheese pizza (homemade as well), red wine and a few hor deuvres(sp?)? Which one has the most distinguishable taste, flavor, appearance, etc?

All suggestions are welcome including those who have not made a tiramisu cake, are not familiar with allrecipes.com, etc.

Thank you,

Av

Hello-I love squid but am getting bored with deep frying in a batter-I remember at a restaurant I was served squid that was marinated in lime-and it was very tender.
I tried this but found it too rubbery-all help appreciated ;)

I am soon going to an organization that takes care of people who can't attend normal schools because of their physical disability.

I am thinking of taking a sweet dish with me because I really appreciate what those people are trying to do.

I don't know anyone there yet, so the issue of allergy may have to be taken into consideration.

I also wouldn't like any sweet that is highly moist because the sweets are going to stay in the car for a long time.

I am thinking of something that is easy to do, can be propotioned into small peices and can be stored outside the fridge.

So, what are your suggestions?

If the recipe, like this one http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Baked-Pork-Spring-Rolls/Detail.aspx, calls for spring roll wrappers, does that imply that you should use rice paper?

I thought that spring roll wrappers were rice based, not egg based.

Thanks very much,

Av
