I always use a tablespoon of the brown vinegar, not the white vinegar when I cook spinach or greens and always put at least a tablespoon or two of it into my Bean soup or my Chili!

It not only adds to the taste but reduces the glassiness to zero!

I know that some people add baking soda to green vegetables to preserve their green color, but I don't think it has an effect on controlling gas.

Supposedly Baking Soda, but I'm not sure if it works. My mother used it when I was a kid, but I think we still had plenty of gas, especially from dry beans :D
