Hello everyone,

I'm interested in making a tiramisu cake for my 21st birthday, and I believe that all will go according to plan (as long as I have my mind made up as to which tiramisu cake to make).

So, I'm a 20 year old male looking to bake my first tiramisu cake, and so long as everything, all the ingredients, is there, I should have no trouble baking my first cake. However, the rub lies therein! Which tiramisu cake should I bake?

Familiar with allrecipes.com? Use the search engine to find tiramisu cake, there you'll find: Classic tiramisu cake, tiramisu cheesecake, tiramisu layer cake (an allrecipes cookbook recipe), and tiramisu II.

Which of these would go best with a meaty cheese pizza (homemade as well), red wine and a few hor deuvres(sp?)? Which one has the most distinguishable taste, flavor, appearance, etc?

All suggestions are welcome including those who have not made a tiramisu cake, are not familiar with allrecipes.com, etc.

Thank you,

Av

Tiramisu is not that easy. First time I made it the egg mixture broke.

I'd go with the cheesecake, it's prettier and you can never go wrong with a cheese cake. I've never made tirimasu, but Í am very good at knowing which are good recipies.
