I am being more sentimental than thoughtful...
My brother-in-law and I made a Thanksgiving meal with 27 items on the table for family friends and babies for a total of 15. We cooked for 2 and a half days using all the yummy ingredients we purchased from the farmer's market, just turning the trimming and leftovers of some things into other things...
I have a great picture of my 4 year old niece with a huge turkey leg in her mouth that she was seriously working on : )

Chicken and broccolli Cassarole, some people call it Chicken Divine but I make mine a little different. Side dishes are: Mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread. It even gets the teens to sit down and eat as a family.
Also the Kielbasa and Kale soup with cornbread I just made this week was sooooo good.

I did it the other night actually - but I cheated a little bit! Fried some Turkey in a wok with a Sesame Oil. Threw in some baby corns, spring onions, mange tout, mushrooms and tomatos and then added a gorgeous sauce by Wagamama - it was a lemongrass one. Then finished it off with some rice. I cooked far too much but it was so delicious we polished it off very quickly. It was the sauce that made it and I would recommend buying them!

A filet mignon dish with a Cajun cream/pepper sauce, with a crab bisque on the side with the stock made from the shells. We might have had rice, but those were the two stars of the meal.

I must agree that hunger is the best sauce-I do love rib eye steak with mushrooms in a red wine sauce.
But the best meal to me is fried egg and chips-got to be chip shop chips(Greek or British only-no other nations can cook chips properly)
Make sure the egg is still runny -sublime food nirvana!

Everytime I do savoury mince i amaze myself at how damn good it is!
I do it in a slow cooker with onions, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, mixed veg and stock and let it cook for 10 hours.
It is fantastic everytime! We have it at least twice a week with a big pile of horseradish mash.

It was a Christmas dinner. The main course was a spiral-cut ham with a rum & brown sugar glaze. I don't remember everything I served with it, but there was also scalloped potatoes & cranberry sauce, with pecan pie for dessert.

I can make toast very well. Can also make boiled water quite easily. But so far its probably spagetti with a chilli/garlic/olive oil sauce.
