I have been dating and married to my hubby for a total of 15 years. I have always enjoyed cooking and over the years, have mastered quite a few dishes. We both take our health seriously and for the most part, I have always cooked with our health in mind. A while ago, my hubby decided he no longer wanted to eat pork so I removed it from our diet. Then he decided he no longer wanted to eat the dark meat of chicken. Okay fine, I'll change around some of my chicken recipes so that I use white meat only (specifically breast because he does not eat the wing) eventhough curry chicken tastes better with dark meat, now lately, he no longer eats beef. That took the cake. All we eat now is chicken breast, turkey wings, ground turkey, or some seafoods (but that's also limited). I have gotten to the point now where I no longer like to cook because I'm all chickened out. I mean, how many things can you do with chicken breast? Meal ideas??

I've never been to high-end restaurants ($50-100/person) until this past year due to some business dinners. The food and beverages were incredible. They looked great AND tasted great - yet I couldn't even pronouce half the stuff on the menu.

What are some good websites to visit so I can get receipes/instructions to prepare some of my own meals like the ones you find in a high end restaurant? For example, I'd love to be able to prepare a salmon dinner - but I have no idea how to prepare the salmon or what sides to serve it with.

Also, where can I find reciepes for making fancy drinks (non-alcoholic)? I had a drink a few months ago and it tasted very good. It was fruity, carbonated, and had little bits of green herbs/spices/or something or other floating around in it. It was not soda.

We enjoyed the meal and show at this establishment in Myrtle Beach SC....I was wondering if anyone knows the recipe for it.
I have tried a few that I found on teh internet....umm, but to say the least, they were nothing like what we ate at the Dixie Stampede.

Thank you, I appreciate everyones time

I like to cook and I like to eat. The only problem is, my mom won't trust me in the kitchen to make pies and cakes in fear that I will make a mess. Anyone have some good tasting, and easy to make recipes that don't involve eggs and flour.

I followed a recipe exactly and put the mix in a preheated oven at 150 degrees C for an hour. It looked good when it came out, but when I cut it open, the inside was grey and like rubber. Any idea what can cause this?
