Freezing Lasagna??

Question

How long does it last in the freezer? How do I cook it once I bring it out of the freezer? Thanks!

Cooked lasagne will last for a long time in the freezer. After defrosting it just stick it in the microwave. It tastes just as goos as it does when first made.

I put mine in the freezer after it is cooked. This way I can have a piece to enjoy when I cannot cook. It keeps well in a deep freezer for months. To thaw it use your microwave or the oven.

I freeze MY lasagna for up to a year. Whether its prebaked or baked, it doesn't matter to me. I freeze the left overs AND I make extra without baking it at all so its ready for a quick meal down the road.

I freeze the raw lasagna in the baking dish covered with plastic wrap AND tinfoil, to which I let thaw in the frig and then transfer to the oven.

I freeze the left over baked stuff in plastic wrap as single servings and simply toss in the microwave to heat when lasagna is desired by one of us.

Make your lasagna and deep freeze it for as long as a month. -10 centigrde, at least.
Bring it back to life in a slow microwave defrost - good as just made.

i always freeze my lasagne and it's good after months! you can freeze it either before or after cookng, however i do that before. just put it into oven straight out of the freezer and add 10 extra minutes. so as normally lasagne need 30 minutes, it will take 40 minutes for the frozen one.

after baking and cooling, cut it into serving pieces and wrap in plastic wrap then foil. if you want you can put it in a ziploc bag too.it will keep for months. i ususally defrost it in the fridge overnight then heat it in the microwave. my brother in law used to work for an italian restaurant and they would boil each chunk in a boil bag to reheat it.
