I like to cook and I like to eat. The only problem is, my mom won't trust me in the kitchen to make pies and cakes in fear that I will make a mess. Anyone have some good tasting, and easy to make recipes that don't involve eggs and flour.

honestly, if you do make a mess, I would suggest that you clean it up yourself. However, you can find a great number of pies that do not require eggs and flour.....head to the jello pudding web site, they have recipes that are great.

But again clean up behind yourself to show your mom that you can be trusted.

here are some delicious recipes that won't make a big mess, have only a few ingredients and are really simple!

rice krispie treats!
6 cups Rice Krispies
3 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows

Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat.
(It would be perfect to be measuring out all of the cereal at this time, having it ready in a large bowl.).
Working quickly, add rice krispies cereal, and stir until the cereal is well coated.
Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press the mixture evenly into a greased 13 by 9 by 2 inch pan (or whatever pan you have on hand).
When the treats are cooled, cut into squares.
Serve, and enjoy!

S'more tortillas
2 flour tortillas (8-10 inch)
3 large marshmallows, cut in half
2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sugar, mixture

Generously coat a medium skillet with vegetable spray and heat it over medium heat.
Place a tortilla in the skillet, then sprinkle the marshmallow halves and the chocolate chips evenly over it.
Top with the second tortilla and spray it with vegetable spray as well.
Cook the tortilla stack for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned, then carefully flip it and cook on the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Remove the tortillas to a cutting board, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the top, then cut the s-more into quarters.
Makes 4 S'Mores.

Jello Pops
2 cups boiling water
1 package jell-o brand gelatin, any flavor (4-serving size)
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups cold water

Stir boiling water into gelatin and sugar in medium bowl at 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
Stir in cold water.
Pour into pops molds or plastic or paper cups.
Freeze about 2 hours or until almost firm.
Insert wooden spoon or stick or plastic spoon into each for handle.
Freeze 8 hours or overnight until firm.
Press firmly on bottom of mold to release pop.
Store leftover pops in freezer.

Take some time and go thru www.cooks.com There are thousands of different recipies there. But if you are into baking cookies and cakes, I don't know of to many ways around the flour and eggs problem. Maybe you need to find the proper way to show your mother that she can trust you to clean up after yourself.

Buy some desserts that come in a box with all the ingredients.
Eagle makes some good ones that are fun and easy. Our Wal-Mart carries them. With all of the ingredients in the box, they're not messy at all, just put the empty packages back in the box and throw the whole thing away.
Best wishes!

Chocolate pudding pie is good. You just get a premade pie crust. Mix up a package of chocolate pudding. Pour the pudding in the crust and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Serve with whipped topping.

ok i know it sounds childish but its sooo sinfully deliciously yummy. Mac and Cheese (Kelsea and Pete style)
shred equal amounts of Velveta, cheddar, and american cheese. like 1 cup of each. mix them together. then cook some shells or other noodles a little undercooked. then layer them in a deep dish. going back and forth between noodle and cheese. then put pepper on top. and then bread crumbs. put it in the oven @ 375 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. It is soo good. actually im making it tonight for dinner. the hardest part of it is... WAITING because it smells so good.

do you have one of those sandwich presses? If you have the ones like they sell on TV that seal the edges there are lots of things you can make that are easy to clean up.

Use all types of breads or tube biscuts and fill with sweat or savory ingredients.

Sounds like you like deserts - a simple one id to use tube biscuts or even just white bread and fill with canned pie filling or pudding, or even PB and J.
