I missed my final cake class and I'm a little embarrassed to call my teacher and ask her, I figured I knew how to do it on my own, buy now thinking about it since I have to put the dowels, is it with the buttercream icing and then you put the fondant over the whole cake, or do you roll the fondant over each layer and then put the dowels?

I have a random bag of blueberries in the freezer. I'm a cook that tries to use as few of ingredients as possible in recipes to save money. I live by the 4-Ingredient Cookbooks!

I was wondering what are some cheap and simple ways to use the blueberries? The only thing I can think of is a blueberry smoothie or shake. Any other ideas?

I'm interested in new ways to cook vegetable side dishes. Preferably, something that involves very few ingredients. I'm usually strapped for time, and uhhh, I'm not a great cook, so I can't see any extravagant casseroles being made in my kitchen.....unfortunately :-).

What I usually do is stir-fry different veggies in soy sauce or serve them raw. But, this is getting soooo boring!!

Any easy, interesting suggestions?? Help!!

I am trying to make the Teryaki Chicken sauce from O'Charleys. It is kind of sweet...Anybody had it and know how to make one similar to it? The dish itself is called teriyaki chicken.

I am tired of making the same old things for dinner. Every time I buy chicken breasts and cook them, they are dry (because I want to make sure they get done) and there's not much flavor to them.

What is the secret to making a great, juicy, flavorful, chicken breast? Any good marinade ideas?

For some reason, I forget to protect my hands with gloves before peeling some chiles. I didn't notice this at first, but after I took a shower, my hands are burning.

What is the best thing to do now that I have already got the chile juice into my skin?

Ok, I have a very picky husband. He hates veggies. He likes corn, beans lettuce corn and carrots, but hates (dislikes garlic but willing to try it in a recipie)the rest. I've always cooked the same things cause i dont know what to cook for him anymore. He likes steaks and chicken alot so i mostly cook those for him.
Does anyone know of some different ways to cook these items BESIDES fried chicken.
He also loves lemon pepper spice.
I just really want to make him a really good meal for when he returns from raq next year(yeah im horrible at cooking so i need practice, been awhile since ive cooked for him). Also anyone know of any good desert s i can make also. from cookies to cakes and also home made baked cheese cakes, ive always wanted to make one. He loves cheese cakes
