I am trying to make a white chocolate torte. I melted the white chocolate on a double boiler and then I add the melted butter at room temperature, but at the first drop my chocolate starts to harden. It looks like a paste. I made sure there was no water on the bowl, but my chocolate keeps getting hard at the first drop of melted butter or liquor. I've tried different types of chocolate, and tried the butter hot or at room temperature, but I can't seem to make it work. Please help!! What can I do to avoid this?

Does anyone have a recipe for Croatian bread? Just normal bread, not the fancy holiday kind, just a loaf of bread. It tasted so different, maybe with cornmeal in it? Or something else I just can't nail. Any help would be heartily appreciated.

Need recipe please. Presume Self Raising flour. Used dry ginger powder, sugar, butter, eggs and maybe milk. Baked in paper cases in muffin pan. Icing was just lemon juice and icing sugar mixed with a little hot water and spread on top of cupcake. Delicious childhood favourite treat.

Someone recommended egg whites instead of whole eggs. Do I just fry them up or boil them? How do you eat them?

I have never cooked fish before, am not a big fish eater, and my husband is not too fond of most fish. Any good ideas for type of fish to start out with? Good recipes would be appreciated too! We would like to start incorporating fish into our weekly dinners.

Thanks!
