What came first the chicken or the egg?

probably gonna get my answer removed but your question reminded me of a joke I got via email....so I'm sharing it
A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is leaning against
the headboard smoking a cigarette, with a satisfied smile on its face.
The egg, looking a bit pissed off, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and
says, "Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question.
If anyone needs it explained - read it a second time.

Wow.... I want to answer this sarcasticly but Im going to give my opinion....
The chicken.... because the chicken produces the egg, which in turn produces more chickens.... but If the egg came first ... where did it come from?
Just my opinion.

The chicken. Some prehistoric animal evolved into the chicken and then the chicken had the egg!!!!!
