If it is not made of Pyrex or made by Corningware, and on the box it does not say "oven safe" then it probably isn't a good idea. Oven safe glass is formulated and heat treated so it does not have interal stresses whiich causes cracking when the glass expands when heated above the boiling point of water. A Mason jar for example survives well when doing home canning in boiling water, but usually will break if put into an oven over 300 degrees. I learned this the hard way. One type might survive, a blown glass. Wine glasses are made by two different methods, molded and blown. Blown glasses are done my hand and have a distinct chime sound when struck and two side by side will be slightly different. Molded glasses do not chime, more like a think sound, and you can usually spot the seam where the two halves were meltd together, and when placed side by side are virtually identical. If all else fails, you can always try it and see.

I'm no chef but I wouldn't try it. Glass bakeware is usually very thick. Wine glasses are fragile enough - I doubt they could handle a 350 oven. They weren't designed for oven use so I wouldn't risk it.

i think of the nail polish may well be super in case you in basic terms left it and it would chip except you have been attempting to purposely chip it off. It sounds frightening to place flammable paint into an oven, i does not do it. you may paint the bottle with a sparkling gloss so it may set and it won't chip in case you're that irritating approximately it.

Please don't do that.Bake the cake separately. Then cut it small enough to fit in the glass. You can cut smaller pieces and add several. Then add some icing or toppings to make it look pretty.Drizzle some chocolate sauce or whipped cream and you have a new creation for your friends.Pick out a cool napkin and a nice spoon and there you go.Good luck, Rob

Doesn't sound like a good idea. I bet you could find a nice mini-pan In a nice shape at a cookware store, and ramekins are perfect for baking small things.

No, it will crack. The only glass you can use for baking is Pyrex brand.
