Usually don't drain into sink. Put in a coffee can and dispose that way. I sometimes leave the juice in especially if I used lean meat and added olive oil for browning.

You should drain the grease because the grease is unhealthy and it will sit on top of your sauce and is very gross. There are many ways to drain it. You can run hot water down the disposal while it is on and drain the meat in a strainer. You could put the strainer over a plate or bowl and then dispose of the grease later. You can put the strainer over an old empty coffee can and get rid of it like that.... Alot depends on the kind of meat you are using, if its hamburger that you cooked and browned then those are all appropriate ways. If it is meatballs, just take them out of the pan and set them on a rack that is over a cookie sheet and let the grease drip off before adding them to the sauce. If it is italian sasuage... you can drain it in anyof the ways described above.
I hope that this helped you.

Drain the meat! You can drain it in the sink, just turn on the hot water and let it run so that the grease doesn't stick.

If your talking about draining the grease from the meat then it would be much healthier for you to drain the hot oil into a coffee mug first. You don't want to pour hot grease down the drain, as you will see it hardens when it cools and it will clog your drain. You can leave it, but it will just be more fattening.

DON"T DRAIN IN THE SINK! soak up the meat juice with paper towels and throw them out or pour it in a coffee mug. (If you put hot grease down the sink then it can solidify and be a real b**** to unclog. Yes I know this from personal experience.)

definitely drain the meat!!!!! and you can do so in the sink, just remember to use hot water and DAWN dish washing liquid to keep the drain from getting clogged with the grease.

Always drain but NEVER down the sink. Put in baggie (but not while hot) or anything to hold grease and put in your rubbish. Cover with some newspaper in case it would leak.

I drain my meat and add to my dogs dry food for treat keeps coat soft and gleaming. Also if I find my sauces have too much oil on top I use either a slice of bread or paper towel and just glide on top absorbs that extra greese.
