to actually drink it no. it's like drinking sour cream (which i love sour cream). but i love to cook with it

buttermilk cornbread
buttermilk pancakes

Ingredients
3/4 cup (175 ml) regular milk
2 tsp (10 ml). vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation
add 2 tsp (10 ml). vinegar or lemon juice to regular milk, let stand a few minutes to sour, instead of buttermilk.
Comments
This came from my grandmother's banana bread recipe that calls for buttermilk. Works great!

i dont really like butter milk but i like makingit its o much fun if its really mixed you could always put them on crackers which taste so good, i tried it at this farm for a feild trip its delicious :) but otherwise hate it

I only like it in biscuits and a buttermilk-basil dressing from epicurious.com.
But my husband drinks it straight out of the carton! Ewwww.. :)

I only like it in my corn meal when I fry corn bread....Just straight out of the carton to drink....oh no!
