I want to bake christmas cookies and hang them on the tree. Is it better for me to wrap them in Saran Wrap or something before hanging? If I don't wrap them, how long will they last? Are they supposed to edible, or stricly for decoration?

I have been trying to bake cookies for a gift basket for the men at my husband's work. Every recipe I have tried since so far have hardened after cooling the cookies. Am I doing something wrong or does someone have recipes for Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate chip, and peanut butter cookies that stay soft after cooling? The men at his work like soft chewy cookies not hard ones.

expand their tastes. They won't eat many vegetables, fruit, pork, any spices or herbs, nothing mixed together and the list goes on. My dinners consist of spaghetti, alfredo, tacos, and not much else. Is there any cookbooks or anything to help with meal ideas? I love to cook, but everything I try they hate. Help??

I am gettting ready to use my silicone muffin pan for the first time. I do not have the instructions that came with it and I was wondering if I have to grease the pan and most importantly, do I put it on a cookie sheet. I can't imagine how I'm going to get it into the oven without putting on a cookie sheet. It's so flexible.

Anyone have experience with this?

I want to make quickbread in an empty yam can. I saw it in Martha Stewart Dec 2004 issue -- I remember it saying something about lined cans. But I can't remember whether it said to use a lined can or NOT to use a lined can. Does anyone know, or do you have the issue to check? THANKS!
