I am looking for a recipe that makes the kind of icing that sort of hardens onto the cookies, (the cookies need to be saran wrapped and I want them to look nice) as well as a good cookie recipe if you have one...one people really seem to like. I would appreciate advise you have. I need to make Christmas Cookies. Also any decorating tips at all? Easy ones for a novice. Thanks so much!

I had a delicious Eggs Benedict the other day at a restaurant, and the eggs were described in the menu as "basted." I like my eggs very stiff, I don't like the yolk to be runny at all. I almost never cook eggs myself.

How do I go about cooking an egg like this?

All the ones I was able to find were made with beef and other main-dish type ingredients. I was able to find a pumpkin pie dessert ball mix, however I don't want to pay the crazy price they are charging.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the only color shirts that Barefoot Contessa's Ina Garten owns are blue? It's no big deal, I just think it's funny and my girls like to watch it just to see if she's wearing another blue shirt! LOL! Anyone else notice this too?

For Christmas presents, as an inexpensive gift, I'm planning to put all of the dry ingredients into a cute decorative jar, print up the recipe in a fancy manner, and give the gift of cookies that they can bake themselves. Does anyone have an easy chocolate chip cookie recipe that might be good to use in this situation?

I lost my receipe for a simple Blueberry Apple Dessert. You use dried cake mix , can pie apple. frozen blueberries, and walnuts. All I can remember is that you sprinkled the dry cake mix into the pan. Layer of can apple, and then placed the blueberry on top ot that. Then sprinkle the chopped nuts on the very top. Baked in the oven for 30 minutes. Something is missing and I need help.

I made it once a recipe I had out of a german, swedish and greek recipe book.

It told me to pour this lemon juice mixture over it and I think it made it very juicy.

Can someone please give me a good recipe Im planning on giving it out for the holidays :)

My aunt (now deceased) used to make a brownie without the chocolate. (It cut like a brownie is what I mean) The finished product was a beige color with orange slices in it. It was sooooo good and I cannot find it. I want to make it for Christmas Holidays. Thanks in advance.

Eggbeaters - amazing product but it can't be removed from my frying pan despite using olive oil. What brands or kinds of pans can I get that won't have that issue?
