Well the easiest one would be to make an upside-down cake. Empty the apple filling into the bottom of your baking tin. It's better to use a square one for this...either 8 or 9 inch.

Mix your cake as per instructions on the package, and pour over the apple filling. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. It will probably take up to 10 minutes longer than the package directions say.

Let the cake cool in the pan.

To serve, cut cake into squares (usually 9--make two cuts on one side to leave three rows, then turn pan around and make two more cuts crosswise to the first, making a total of 9 pieces). Scoop into bowls and serve with whipped cream, clotted cream, or vanilla ice cream on top.

To snaz it up just a bit more, you can throw a tablespoon of butter and a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and a tsp of cinnamon into the bottom of the pan with the apple pie filling. It will just increase the cinnamon taste and make it a little more syrupy.

Make the cake mix per directions add 1/2 teaspoon cinammon and bake in a large skillet, cool the cake (still in the skillet) and pour the pie filling over it. Top with 1 cup brown sugar crumbled into 1/2 stick of buter and 2 tablespoons of flour with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, or nutmeg or 1/4 teas cloves - or a mix there of and optional 1/2 cup copped nuts (not peanuts)

Put under the boiler for about 5 mins or blow torch it or bake it at 425 for about 10 min.

top with whipped cream, ice cream or vanilla pudding

Here's my favorite:
APPLE CRUMBLE

1 box spice cake mix
2 (#202) cans apple pie filling
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. water
Chopped walnuts or pecans

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Sprinkle 1/2 of dry cake mix in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add 2 cans of apple pie filling and spread over top of dry mix. Add nuts, sprinkle rest of cake mix over all.
Add lemon juice to water and pour over top. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Top is moist and crumbly when done. Serve warm with whipped topping.
