They have been in the fridge, unopened, and do not smell at all.

I would cook them for my own personal consumption. Do make a point of cooking them all the way to an internal temp of 165 just to make sure. If you are still worried...dous them in hot sauce...If that is not enough...drink a shot between each bite of hot sauce covered sausage. I am sure you will be fine. Or if you still have the receipt, take the sausage back to the store you bought it and get a fresh sausage.

Not a chance, Especially if it is Pork. Pork is one of the worst things that can harm you if it is "off".

Never risk eating pork which is out of date, don't even think about it.

All sausages have dubious ingredients ( lips, tongues, nostrils, eyelids, genitals etc) and you shouldn't really be messing with that stuff in the first place.

I always assume that the sell by date gives you some lee-way and that use by dates are likely to be erring on the side of safety, if the sausages do not appear to be showingany signs of being bad then you could eat them. It is your choice though and if you are giving them to anyone else let them know that they are out of date and let them make their own mind up

first of all, it is a sell by date not a use by date. secondly if the meat has no odor, no discoloration and is not sticky or slimy they are perfectly fine to eat. pork does not require a 165 minimum internal temperature as one suggested. because of the lack of any cases of trichinosis being reported and the improvements made in processing products the temp has been lowered to 145 for pork. however since it is a ground meat the temp is 155. enjoy the sausage.

Pork would be a little dodgy, but I would probably go for it myself as long as they did not smell off and were not too slimy.

If they are not pork sossies then I'd definately go for it.

People are too namby pamby about these things nowadays and I think it's a bad thing. You need to build up a bit of resistance to stuff!

Sausage is just like bacon - it is cured and can be kept in the refrigerator for quite some time before it goes bad. Go ahead and cook them up and enjoy!

If they contain pork I would not want to eat them at all. Don't take the chance. Even if they are strictly beef, still not a good idea. Those expiration dates are put on there for a good reason.

Best wishes to you and good health.

No don't risk them, you could end up being poorly. You need to be on here earning your points not tucked up in bed poorly from eating out of date sausage,

Meat is not something you want to mess with. Throw them out cause they could make you rather ill. One maybe two days past the date, depending on what kind a meat but not that many days.

Definately not,if they had in the freezer perhaps ? Food poisoning a big risk as the fridge is not cold enough to kill germs.
