All the ones I was able to find were made with beef and other main-dish type ingredients. I was able to find a pumpkin pie dessert ball mix, however I don't want to pay the crazy price they are charging.

I'm looking for a recipe that does not have beef.

I didn't find anything in the dessert section. Thanks though.

Here's one without beef (which, by the way, sounds disgusting to me. . .)

Pumpkin Cheese Ball

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup canned pumpkin or cooked pumpkin
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (2 1/2 ounce) package dried beef, finely chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped onions
Celery leaves
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, pumpkin and pineapple.
Stir in cheddar cheese, beef and onion.
Shape into a ball; place on a serving platter.
Score sides with a knife to resemble a pumpkin and add celery leaves for a stem.

I thought I've seen some on www.creamcheese.com try there. Look in the dessert section.

This isn't a ball recipe, but you could play with it a little to make it into a ball. You could probably add more cream cheese so you can shape it. http://www.recipezaar.com/25730
