For the love.......Here is one so easy my husband can make it:
2lbs ground beef
2 cans of your favorite spag. sauce
2lbs mozzarella cheese
1 container ricotta cheese
1 package NO BOIL noodles
brown and drain meat,
add sauce and 1 cup of water allow to simmer for about 30 minutes
In a large deep casserole or lasagna pan:
cover bottom with one layer of noodles
with a spoon put dollops of the ricotta all over the dry noodles (don't worry about spreading it out the hot sauce in the next step will do it for you)
ladle in enough sauce to cover the noodles entirely (smooshing around the ricotta as you go)
sprinkle mozzarella cheese over sauce
repeat these layers starting with the noodles and ending with the mozzarella until you reach the top (between 2 and 3 times total usually)
You will want your thickest layer of mozzarella on the very top so keep that in mind while layering.
Dust top with Parmesan and bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes until the top is bubbling and brown.
This is a flexible thing, add whatever you like to the sauce, layer in mushrooms on top of the sauce, use red wine instead of water, etc....
Have fun and Good Luck

Not sure if you want to make the casserole or the noodles. There are recipes all over the place for the casserole.
If you want real "homemade" noodles, I'd suggest you find an Italian bakery and get "noodle sheets" from them. Or they may have it cut in strips. It makes the end result ever so much better.
Oh, to do a search, use "lasagna" or "lasagne"

try making a white lasanga. I even have made one in the previous layering chicken fowl, ricotta cheese and portabello mushrooms. Use an alfredo sauce extremely of a crimson sauce and in case you dont' like mushrooms try including spinach interior the layers. you additionally can pass vegatarian with it you will not omit the beef. Use eggplant that has been slighty fried like in parmesan yet layer it with a crimson sauce, ricotta and different vegetables. it is so filling you dont' even recognize that meat isnt in it.
