Hello, this is the thing: When I make pancakes, I cannot achieve they come out round-shaped. Besides, one side gets OK, but the other one turns out full of holes and doesn't cook uniformly. Do you know some tricks to make holeless round uniformly cooked pancakes? Also if you know some recipes for pancakes like with strawberries or some other stuff, it would be great.

I have this project in my Lit. class and we have to cook a dish to go with our poet. I choose Homer (as in author of The Illiad and The Odyssey) and he lived from 900 B.C. to 850 B.C. in Greece. I need a good food dish that will knock my classmates socks off and help me become known as a good cook. I'm pretty good at cooking and I can go up to expert level as long as I have detailed instructions. I need either a website or a recipe written by you. I have no preferences as to spice but try to exclude anything thats hard to find. I'm pretty much confined to the local farmers market.

Does anybody know what the best kind of rice is for making teriyaki? Do I need a rice cooker to cook it properly or will it turn out right if I cook it in a regular pan?

Thanks guys.

I worked at an Indian resturaunt a few months ago, and they had the best naan I have ever tasted. One of the men told me they made it with Bisquick. It sounds strange to me, and I have not been able to find any recipe with bisquick since.

Has anyone heard of a recepie like this?

I'm making a cake for a party this weekend and i'm tired of using the same old recipe for frosting that I always use. Does anyone have any recipes for a great tasting frosting that would also work good for detailed decorating? Thanks!!

Or: if you do eat meat, is there any way you might consider picking up a vegetarian cookbook? And, if so, would you be looking for meatless main dishes as an occasional alternative, or just vegetable side dishes, both, or would you pick it up with an eye to economy or health, or...?

And, please go on with all the usual wants/don't-wants about cookbooks unrelated to its being vegetarian...
