Commercials are all to make us excited about spending our money on their product. I even fall into the trap and buy shredded instead of shredding it myself.

The Italian crumbles tast really good mixed in with pasta dishes. I haven't tried any of the other crumbles, but it makes it easier to have chunk cheese on a salad if the work is already done.

You want crumbles? Freeze a block of SHARP cheddar (freezing causes the cheese to lose some flavor). Thaw in the refridge. The cheese will crumble easily, in fact, you can't make it NOT crumble. Cheaper and more quantity. Now-a stupid idea is those flower/moon shapes...

come on now, are we so busy that we can't take the time to crumble our cheese? It is just a way for Kraft to make money off the cheese they would have otherwise lost on the cutting block floors, or blocks that don't make it from cutting all the way to wrapping on the packaging machines.

Well, since I never heard of Kraft Crumbles until you asked, I would guess the answer is NO. However, after you mentioned them, I looked them up. The idea is a probably good one ... there are lots of times you want a sprinkliing of cheese, but don't want to hand-crumble it, and shredded doesn't suit your fancy.

I think its actually just a way to get rid of all the little bits that fall off the cheese when they cut it into blocks. I would say the person who should get most excited is the accountant who will charge a ridiculous amount of money for leftover cheesebits!

No.In fact cheese starts to lose flavor once you cut into it,so crumbles are probably losing flavor in the bag.

I have had them and I prefer regular cheese that I can cut off the block.
I think the company wants people to think there is a big bustle about their product.
