I'm not looking for a link to a recipe website, I'm looking for somebody who has actually made restaurant style queso at home and has a recipe for it. We melt Velveeta and add rotel all of the time, but this does not compare to some of the queso found at some really good mexican restaurants. The restaurants serve queso that is a a bit more yellow-orange in color and more tasty..... not as bland as Velveeta. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love making sandwiches, and I love making them with sub bread. However, I can't ever seem to find a decent loaf of sub bread at any grocery store. I've tried 3-4 different stores. They all have these pre-packaged "sub breads," but the problem with them is that they are way too thick and wide. The result? A sandwich that is overwhelming in the bread department, and no matter how much you try to balance it with meats and cheeses and veggies, the sandwich is still dominantly bread. The worst part is, I always end up feeling too full, because I can practically feel the yeast rising in my stomach.

The size of bread I find ideal is the kind you would find in most sandwich shops: Subway, for instance. I like the size of their breads. Not overwhelming.

Where can I find something like this?
