Peel and halve a couple of potatoes and put them in the soup. Discard them before serving soup. They'll soak up a good portion of the salt.

Add a potato for every teaspoon of extra salt (if you know) if you don't know, probably just add 1 or 2 potatoes. Also dilute the soup with a little bit of water

Take out some of the stock and put plain water,then peel a potato and cut into chunks---add to stock.Potato will soak up salt....

Adding Potatoes absorbs the salt. It REALLY WORKS.. :) I overdid the salt a couple of times...

My fowl chili is a lot greater useful than my fowl soup yet, my fowl soup isn't all that undesirable. that's merely no longer my proper recepie. right here you are able to upload this celebrity to the soup whilst that's finished.

Reheat your soup and add 2 cups of water and a 1 lb. bag of wide egg noodles.........that way you end up with chicken noodle soup.......hope that rescues your soup!!!

you could add broth, make more soup. basically, dilute the salt. if you have to, split the soup into two pots, add broth to it that way.
