do you mean linguine/fettuccine carbonara...
you will need bacon, garlic, shallots, olive oil, white wine, chicken stock, parmasean cheese(not the stuff in the green can),35% cream(you can use milk if you like but it doesnt work as well and you are already using bacon anyway),fresh basil, salt and pepper.
1 slice bacon and sautee in a little olive oil
2 pour off some of the rendered grease from the bacon and add sliced shallots to the pan. cook until translucent but not brown.
3 Add chopped garlic and sautee gently careful not to overcook the garlic.
4 Add a splash of white wine and a little chicken stock and then reduce by one third.
5 add a little cream and reduce by a third again.
6 toss in some parmasean cheese and chopped fresh basil
7season with salt and pepper
8 mix with pre-cooked pasta and pile on a plate
9 garnish with parm and more chopped basil
voila et bon appetite

Not sure exactly which one you were looking for, but here goes
Spaghetti Carbonara
INGREDIENTS
1 (7 ounce) package thin spaghetti
10 bacon strips, diced
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Add butter to drippings; heat until melted.
Drain spaghetti; toss with eggs and Parmesan cheese. Add to skillet; cook and stir over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until eggs are set. Sprinkle with bacon.
Spaghetti Al Amatraciana
INGREDIENTS
1/4 pound thinly sliced pancetta bacon, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup white wine
1/2 pound uncooked spaghetti
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon, onion and red pepper flakes until onion is tender but not browned.
Stir in the tomatoes and wine; simmer for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Add pasta to the sauce and toss well; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes more (this will infuse the pasta with the sauce). Add salt and black ground pepper to taste; serve.

I have never heard of that. It sounds good. I would make my angel hair pasta and use an alfredo sauce. I would also cook my bacon separately and crumble it into the pasta sauce prior to adding it to the pasta. Sounds good-thanks for the idea!
