My husband is allergic to mushrooms. Therefore he cant eat the green bean casserole. Is there a substitution for the cream of mushroom? Would cream of chicken work? Thanks.

I'm looking at some different recipes for homemade stuffing, some of which require a few ingredients that I'm not accustomed to purchasing. These ingredients are Chestnuts (roasted and jarred), and Panchetta. What are the average prices of these items? How much is Panchetta running per pound at your local deli or butcher shop? Thanks? :)

I know some people make it in the oven while others make it on the stove top. Which is best? Any recipe recommendations?

I'm an American, and I hear Brits talk about it a lot, so what is an orange squash? Can you make it yourself? Anyone have a good recipe for it? Is it alcoholic?

Hi, im getting bored of the same meals all of the time and every time i look for recipes they suggest all of these gourmet meals with expensive ingredients (which are nice on occassion but not 7 days a week). I would love some nice simple, quick, tasty and healthy meals that I could either prepare the day before and cook after work. Id also love to make a curry from scratch so if anynody has any recipes, they would be greatly appreciated.
Any recipe would be great, the more the merrier. Please help me.

I'm interested in becoming a pollo-vegetarian. Does anyone have any recipes or websites for recipe ideas? And since eggs are from chickens could I still have eggs? I wasn't sure.

Can you freeze shredded carrots? I'd like to keep them on hand for recipes, but I only use a little at a time, I never get thru the whole bag. (some stores carry carrots by the peice that I can shred in small batches, but sometimes it's more convenient to get them pre-shredded)

I am going to position a leg of lamb in the rotisserie oven so that a small part of the meat will touch the basting solution in the pan below on every rotation. What i think i will get is meat that has been constantly basting for its entire 1.5 hour roasting time instead of every ten minutes like the recipe says. I will be basting it every 30 seconds instead. How do you think it will turn out?
