I make a wonderful dish using those ingredients. Take sausage, bell pepper, onion, & garlic and sautee over medium/high heat til meat is browned. Lower heat & add 1 can Bush's baked beans, worchester sauce, mustard, ketchup & a sprinkle of brown sugar. Simmer over low for about 20 minutes & serve with homemade cornbread.....Southern comfort food at it's best!

Well...I have no idea if this would be something you are interested in considering there are about 3,768 recipes out there that could include all of these ingredients. Try this:

slice beef sausage and saute till almost done. Reserve on a plate. Use the same skillet to saute some onion, bell pepper, and diced potato till almost done. Toss all of the above with a little olive oil and ANY seasoning you like. Bake in a 350 oven until done. You can serve this with bread, biscuits and/or salad.

We have this dish quite often, but we don't use a recipe. I cut the peppers and onions into bite-size pieces, and put them in a big pot. I sprinkle in some mustard seed and soy sauce, put the lid on the pot and simmer for 1 hour. A few minutes before the hour is up, I slice a package of Kielbasa sausage. At the hour mark, I toss the sausage into the pot, put the lid back on and turn off the heat. By the time the plates, etc. are put out, it's ready to toss and serve.

wow, so many choices!! Spaghetti sauce or chili would be the easiest way to go. Saute the onions in butter, add the peppers and garlic - continue to simmer until onions are translucent. Remove the onion mixture from the pan and set aside. add the crumbles sausage to the same pan - sans the onion mixture. I would mix some ground beef in as well. once browned, drain the fat and return the onion mixture to the pan. At this point, decide if you want sauce or chili. For the sauce, add store bought, or make your own, add to the mixture with about1/4 cup of red wine. Add bay leaf, basil & oregeno - salt at the vey end. let that simmer on the stove for a couple of hours - don't let it boil. If you're going the chili route, you cant' go wrong with carl shelby chil mix. you can add an assortment of canned beans - black, red, kidney. let that simmer for a bit as well - serve with cheddar cornbread.

Honey&Mustard Brats
10 fresh bratwurst sausages
1 green bell pepper, sliced into long strips
1 red bell pepper, sliced into long strips
1 large sweet onion, sliced into rings and separated
2 cloves garlic, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
2 cups honey mustard barbecue sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can beer, or as needed
10 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise
Place half of the bratwurst in the bottom of a 5 quart slow cooker. Arrange half of the green pepper, red pepper, and onion over them. Layer the remaining bratwurst over the top, and top with the remaining red and green bell peppers and onion. Throw in the garlic and bay leaves. In a separate bowl, mix together HALF of the honey mustard sauce, liquid smoke and beer. Pour into the slow cooker. Add more beer if necessary to cover everything in the pot. Cover, and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours. . Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate. Remove bratwurst from the slow cooker, but leave onions and peppers inside. Place bratwurst on the grill and baste with some of the remaining honey mustard sauce. Turn occasionally until slightly charred. Place bratwurst on rolls, and use tongs to pull out a few of the onions and peppers from the slow cooker and drape them over the sausage.

Would something like this recipe work?

Daddy's Sausage and Peppers

8 (4 ounce) links Italian sausage
1 tablespoon garlic flavored olive oil
3 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
2 red bell peppers, seeded and cut into strips
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
6 cloves garlic, chopped

Slice each sausage link into 5 pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage, and cook until browned, turning as needed.

Drain excess grease, then add the green, red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over all, and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove the lid, and stir. Add the garlic and onion to the pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover, and simmer for 15 more minutes. Stir, then top with mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook for 5 minutes to melt the cheese. Remove from the heat and enjoy.
