I'm looking at some different recipes for homemade stuffing, some of which require a few ingredients that I'm not accustomed to purchasing. These ingredients are Chestnuts (roasted and jarred), and Panchetta. What are the average prices of these items? How much is Panchetta running per pound at your local deli or butcher shop? Thanks? :)

Around here in CA, it's running anywhere from $10-16 a pound for the pancetta. It's great, but expensive!

Pancetta will probably cost you about ten dollars a pound. Give or take depending on where you live. You can always substitute bacon for pancetta.

in NY Costco has a 2 lb. pkg. of panchetta for like 9 or 10 dollars.I saw it 2 weeks ago and cant remember the exact price.
