We argue constantly but we love eachother very much...its kinda bittersweet and we cant do without eachother...any suggestions? and no we dont want counseling..we cant afford that..

my best friend is getting married in a month. It's an arranged marriage, but her fiance is really really hot! For some reason, she doesn't want to marry him, because she likes this other dood who I really despise. He's not even that nice or cute. I guess she's just upset because it is an arranged marriage.I just don't understand. I mean, her would be husband is really sweet.

My boyfriend of 5 years and I have a chapel reserved to get married in a little over a year from now. I'm finishing up college and applying to graduate school while holding down two jobs, so I don't have much free time to devote to wedding plans and it would really help to start soon, but I feel like I shouldn't start planning until everything is official (i.e. until we're engaged). But I don't want to pressure my boyfriend into proposing or ruin any plans he has with my impatience, but at the same time, it seems dishonest for me to hide the pressures I'm beginning to feel from him.

For some crazy reason, FMIL has it in
her head that she is just like my mom and thinks
she has every right to go wedding dress shopping with
me.She isn't my mom and quite frankly, I am
annoyed at her attitude-she doesn't understand
that she doesn't know me like that, that she isn't my
mom and we aren't close. I just don't feel comfortable

sharing these things with her. I am going wedding
dress shopping with my mom and only my mom.
How can I just get her to back off and give me room?
Why is she so
insistent? I have polled friends, family and etiquette
books-none of their FMILs saw
went dress shopping so why should my FMIL? Also,
I don't intend on having FMIL at fittings or showing
her the dress either. I figure she can see it when I
walk down the aisle.

We are having a small wedding next October with just close friends and family (about 50). My brother and I are very close, my FH has also become very close to him. I am having my SIL be my MOH and my FH wants my brother to be his BM. I really want my brother to walk me down the isle tho because my dad passed away 3 yrs ago. Do you think that it would be too wierd if he were to walk me down the isle then stand next to my FH to be his best man? or would this be acceptable?

I just don't get it my fiancee and I are very much in love but ever since he proposed to me he changed. He doesn't open up the door for me well sometimes and the flowers stopped, he used to send them to me at work just because.Why is that men do things to impress you then when they have you they stop it? Its driving me nuts and I hate it I'm so used to him doing these things and now nothing. :-(

Okay My situations a little bit different then the rest of everybodies around here. Me and my X have been broken up for about a month and I still live with her. We still love each other and I wanna be with her again. So I thought of the idea of buying her a promise ring for Christmas. My boyfriend and I are madly in love. Not the fluttery, first-date kind of love, but the comfortable, natural love that comes with totally enjoying the company of the other. He's a little older than me though, not that it matters, as we've known each other for nearly 4 years now. We have everything in common: values, beliefs, hobbies, fun times. He proposed to me recently and I accepted. We have been through a very rough year and our parents disagree with our relationship, which puts extreme stress on us. We both want to get out and move on together, and are working hard to do this both financially and emotionally. It's hard. I keep asking him if I am worth it, and he always strives to show me that I am. I am 18 and he's nearly 22, and we're both poor...are we too young to get married?

I just had my wedding 3 weeks ago and had about 5 couples that gave no wedding gifts. I plan on waiting months before I draw a conclusion but I was wondering prematurely, what if nothing ever comes. Do I confront them? I could care less about the gifts, I just can't get over the laziness and inconsiderate behavior. The wedding was well received by many and it cost $110 a plate. There was also a couple that did not come because they said their kid was sick. We still had to pay for their plates and we had already gone to their wedding last year. I am not extremely close to them. I have low expectations that they will send something, so what do I do?

There a commercial where a little girl and a women is dress up for a wedding and there by a merrior the women puts on some kind of perfume. Hey

I always imagined a small wedding of about 150-200 people but my parents are like those people that know everyone. i'm an only child and the youngest in my family from both sides so this wedding is going to be on a grand scale. My parents are inviting everyone they know as well as people who hate me.

It's horrible and out of my control. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but the wedding list has reached sky high. I don't even know about 75% of the people and of those invited some actually really dislike me and yet they are going to come to my wedding.

What should i do? I don't wanna hurt my parents feeling but i want a small, memorable and intimate wedding not a circus. I know they always wanted this but it's my day too.

Please help.....
