I am having a fairly small wedding I was only planning on 3 attendants
the MOH I had in place had to be fired for bad behavior.
but she has an alliance with another bridesmaid girl Let's Call her "J" I had picked

I don't know what her position is on being in the wedding anymore she hasn't made any contact when I have tried to call her to ask about the paticulars

one of the girls in place is my finacees sister.
the other girl is a high school friend
now I just found out my cousin can come to my wedding and I would love for her to be my MOH. I haven't asked her yet.
if i do then I would have 4 girls
I need 3 i don't want to offend or hurt anyone by asking them to step aside so my cousin can particapate.

what can I do without hurting feelings
the two people who I would consider stepping aside would be my finacees sister or the other bridesmaid. "J"

what and how can I do it.

I need some good ideas on how I can show my fiance this Christmas how much I truly love him. I want it to blow his mind. We do little things for each other every day, so something small wouldn't be sufficient. I just need some ideas on how I could express to him my appreciation for him and how much I care. Be outrageous as you like! Nothing sexual though. Thanks in advance!

Well... I got permission from her parents to marry her. her mom cried and her dad bought me a drink. We're leaving for Disney Land the day after Christmas. I'm proposing in front of Cinderella's castle because she's my princess and always will be! I haven't gotten the ring yet. I'm going out of town about 10:00. She thinks it's for "school" stuff. I'm shopping for her engagement ring. I have about $1,000 on me. Here's what I want to know. Should I go to a local store or to a big store like Kay or Jared's? I'm also thinking of a ring something like this. http://www.secret-diamond.com/images/diamond-engagement-ring.jpg
what do you all think? I know she'll say yes, since she told me she would if I asked her. But I told her I don't wanna get married until I'm through with school. But I never said anything about getting engaged. ;) anywhoo... help me out please! also, WISH ME LUCK! (and if you can think of a place better than the castle, please tell me, I've never been before)

My man bought me a beautiful ring yesterday for Xmas.... the center gem is my birthstone (heartshaped) and on each side it has 2 small real diamonds...the details/engravings in the ring are breathtaking and working in healthcare it's perfect cuz there is no stone set up higher than the ring so I won't catch it on gloves or anyones skin.
When he gave me the ring he asked me to marry him..... I said YES and he opened the box. I love the ring but it is not a traditional engagement ring & my friends are teasing me about the ring saying that because it's not at least a single solitare diamond ring that I can't say it's my engagement ring...... are they correct?
My cousin says that it don't matter it's a ring with real diamonds in it and I can be proud to show it off as my engagement ring cuz people today are different and not as traditional & choose different styles these days.
I just want to know if it's ok to show it off as my engagement ring or will I look silly saying it?

We're getting married! this saturday to be exact. both of us decided to wait. I'm eager. but I wanna know... Is it gonna be kinda awkward the first time? i mean... We'll just be sitting on the bed in the hotel. I'll probably look at her and say "so.... wanna do it?" I just think it'll be kinda weird. Here's what I want to know, If YOU waited for marriage, did you feel kinda awkward on the big night?

I married my girlfriend 3 days back and we are going on an honeymoon coming weekend.

I always have this desire to get my head shaved smooth.I had mentioned it many times to my wife prior to our marriage, and she had told me to do so if I really wanted to.

Now I want to shave my head and enjoy my honeymoon with a bald shaved head.

Should shave it now or during the honeymoon?

A some people in our families (including my fiance's grandmother) are etiquette nazis. They jump all over us if we do something for our wedding that isn't "by the rules". It really annoys us and makes us feel like we aren't planning our own wedding.. What should we do?

My daughter is getting married at an evening wedding in the spring, and her colors are red and purple. I found a long red dress with a touch of purple trim, which she (daughter) thinks is beautiful. Not sure if a mother of the bride should be dressed in red, since her father an I will be walking her down the aisle. Old school I know, I just don't want to take anything from her special day, but would like to wear something that reflects her colors...concern momma

We married in August, and had been looking at a home in an old friend's neighborhood. We got a nicer, cheaper one elsewhere. The old friend invited himself and fam to our wedding, we tolerated it, not about to make a scene. They waited til all other gifts were open, and then made sure everyone saw them give us a $2,000 check! Hubby asked later if they were sure, since they have five kids and don't make much money. He scoffed and was insulted. We live debt-free, so we spent it paying for the wedding. Well, christmas is here, and he came over wanting it back, playing the "I have kids' card. we said if they need it, we can repay him as we get the money *we work for Microsoft, we have money, but we are paying what we owe for home, wedding, etc* He yelled, and a neighbor came to see what was up, and he said we owe him 2 G's for writing a check in his name. He has ruined our rep in a new neighborhood, and people think we're ID thieves! *young, nice house, etc* what to do?

Hello, I was just wondering how should I pick my bridesmaids? Some of my best friends have turned out to be people that I don't even know. They have all moved away and changed SO much in the worst of all ways, and now when I talk to them I feel like i'm talking to a complete stranger. Should I have them as my bridesmaids?.. and also, I had one VERY good friend back in high school, we were best friends for about 10 years, and now only talk on occasion. Should I have her as a bridesmaid, or should bridesmaids only be girls who are close to you, and will always be a part of your life?

I am going to a wedding this weekend in the Tahoe area. It's going to be cold and snowing. The wedding is indoors in a church. Are pants appropriate? The reception is directly following. I get cold really easily and I don't want to freeze :)

I am looking at getting a 1.5 cctw (engagement and wedding combo) for my girlfriend. Color-G, Clarity-SI2. It is 14K white gold and will cost about $2300. I have looked at rings for her but this is the only one I really have like so far, especially clarity and color. I really like the idea that she would have matching rings and all that would be left is getting me a cheap band when we marry since I don't really like jewelry.

Do you think it is proper for the government to dictate to a church which weddings they may legally perform? Some churches have decided that until same-sex partners can have a civil wedding ceremony in the church, they will not hold any wedding ceremonies at all. http://www.planetout.com/news/article.html?2007/12/14/1
