Is there anything cool I could tie into this for the wedding?

Well anything to do with sweets for the wedding. All I can think of are cheesy lines. For the favors, give some sweet treat and write a little Sugar from the Sugars. See, I told you it was cheesy. Best of luck!

A candy buffet/bar table would be great and would tie in with the "Sugar" theme......How sweet! Have your take home candy bags printed with your names or add tags with a thank you note and your names! Make some sort of sign or menu type of sign and frame and have it on some easel on the candy table with a thank you note written by you and your groom and your names......the ideas are endless! Use tall glass cylinder vases with a wide mouth and small scoops and different kinds of candy, maybe some from your childhood and some you like now! Good Luck Sweets!

If you're going to have flower centerpieces, in the vases, you could put sugar cubes and then the flowers...
If you want to go really over the top... I immediately think of Candy Land... you could get those glass candy jars at Target and fill them with different candy and put them out during cocktail hour and the reception

Candy buffet- and you could put a sign on it that makes a play on your last name, something like "The new Mr & Mrs Sugar hope you have a sweet night"

You know those solid sugar decorations they put on cakes sometimes? (I'm thinking more along the lines of kids birthday cakes than wedding cakes, but you get the idea). You could use those for your table centerpieces instead of real flowers.
For the reception...the song "Pour Some Sugar on Me" comes to mind...haha!
And for a little theme (on napkins or something), you could say something like
"(Your name) and (His name) Sugar
The Sweetest Newlyweds"

Make sugar cookies frosted with your wedding color that have your initials in icing (your first initial and that of your future husband) for your favors.

That is adorable.
Maybe make some color coordinated sugar cubes set out in pretty bowls (inplace of the sugar packets) for the dessert hours.

Make sugar cookies in the shape of your and your Hubby-to-be's first initials, hearts, bells, etc. and use your theme colors for the icing and sprinkles!

Lol all I can think about is the cheesy pick-up line where a guy hands you a pack of Sugar and says "I think you dropped your name tag." If y'all like cheesy things like that, you could relabel packets of sugar to say "John and Jane Sugar" and have a coffee bar.
Or you could have a candy bar and have a sign that says "Sugar" on it.

what about maple sugar or sugar candies? they can mold them into pretty much anything, maybe use your initials, or hearts or something like that.
