I looked on victoria's secret and they have a better selection of coats than Nordstroms...kind of stumbled upon it. Here are some of the ones I am considering

I currenlty live in Atlanta, GA but I am getting married in Charlotte it is a half way point for my family as well as my fiance's family. We plan to move to Charlotte a few months before the wedding but we do not have a church home yet but would like to marry in a nice church in the Charlotte area. We don't mind paying but would love some suggestions. Thanks!

My guy just proposed last week, and I'm really excited! Now I am curious what kind of wedding band I should get with my engagement ring when we get married. Here is a link to the ring he got me (hope the link works):

http://robbinsbros.com/ProductSearch/productDetail.asp?prod_id=21833&pType=ring&intIsJewelry=0&set_shape=1012

The side of the ring is not flat, so should I get a wedding band that conforms to the contours of the side of the ring, or just a simple band that is a uniform ring shape? I know I can "do whatever I want", I'm just wondering what is typically done when the side of the engagement ring is contoured due to the setting of the diamonds.

How do you tell people where you are registered? Obviously I don't care if we get gifts or not. The most important part of this wedding is everyone being there to see me marry the one I love. But I know registering is expected. So how do you let them know? Also how soon should you register. And where are the best places.... Please let me know thanks guys

p.s. what kind of stuff do you register for? haha......

My wedding is 6 months away, and sometimes I question if I am making the right choice. I love my fiance, and have no intensions of leaving him. I just thought that when I got married I would be totally, 100% sure. I'm pretty sure it's normal, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.

Ok, eventually my boyfriend and I will marry sooner than later. Here's the kicker. I'm atheist; he's at least agnostic. We don't really care about religion though our families do. His father is Catholic, but raised by his mother's beliefs of Baptist. I was raised Catholic but now I believe what I believe. My mother still is in denial saying I'm at most agnostic . I always wanted to get married outside because I'm outdoorsy. My bf always thought he would marry in a church, but more for his parents' sake than his. He just thinks it is normal. Thinking about it more, I wouldn't mind a ceremony in a church or chapel, but I already have an officiant in mind (family friend back home) who won't inject God into it. I believe churches are beautiful, but all the beautiful ones in Dallas are Catholic and bf and I are a big no-no there. The little wedding chapels around here suck so that only leaves actual churches. Anyone have an ideas what religion would allow us in?

So I just got engaged two days ago & I was at the mall today and was wondering around a bookstore. I found the wedding section and picked out a few wedding planning books and sat down and started to go through them. After going through them I started to feel really anxious and I like I needed to take some deep breaths and maybe stick my head inbetween my legs and calm down.
I don't know if it is just the stress of thinking of all the planning needed and money needed. Or it's just all my stresses combined.
Basically my stresses include: college classes, currently in the process of transfering colleges for the spring, work, finances, & problems between boyfriend & mom.

Did anyone else feel a little faint when they started thinking about everything they would need to do?

My fiance and I are having an outdoor ceremony next June. A pastor is marrying us, however, we dont want to focus too much on religion. Aside from the unity candle, what other special ideas could we incorporate for unity? Thanks!

Or should I wait until after we're married and change it. I want to pay as little as possible and avoid this so called "marriage penalty".

My Boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 years and lived together for the last year, recently we have been talking about getting engaged and starting a family next year (I am 24 and he is 28) He seems really keen on starting a family and would do it now if I would let him. I want to be engaged first and would like it to be soon, I have been talking about us going ring shopping and he says yes, but just doesn't seem all that keen? Any ideas why?

I can't figure out if I just want to go to the justice of the peace or have a small wedding. I don't really want to spend all that money but I do want a wedding. What should I do?

Me and my husband have been married for 7 yrs. I would like to renew our vows on the date we had orginally planned on getting married but didn't get to. I want to have a bigger wedding. We didn't get to do all that at first. Is this normal do people do it anymore or do you think it is something I shouldn't mess with?

We have a pavillion, ampitheathre and Gazebo and about 30 people coming, what do I do if it rains, sleets or snows?
Photos are going to be awful? Muddy? dark?
What now, too late to go anywhere else?

Ok so my fiance's sister is against the wedding. We have been dating for four years and she says that we are rushing into things. On top of that she stopped speaking to us after he told her to stop badgering him about seeing his grandma. Note: We live and hour away and we see her once a month while his sister lives a mile down the road and never sees her. Also, his grandma surprised me when she told a friend in front of me that her world collapsed when we became engaged. Please help!! The wedding is next year and on top of planning a wedding I have to deal with those two. I want them to be at the wedding but together we have agreed that it might not be the best thing.. Any suggestion?

i started looking for a wedding band, i like the dark shiny look of the titanium rings a lot but i guess they cant be resized if your ring size changes during your life, which it almost always does. i wasnt a silver looking band and was thinking about an alternative metal rather than white gold because it kinda looks like crap and loses its silver color after a few years. someone told me palladium dents and scratches easily so i was thinking maybe tungesten, does anyone know if that can be resized? if anyone knows of a good, objective buying guide for metals it would be appreciated. most of the guides ive found either sound unobjective or dont include tungsten and titanium

What is wrong with doing your own thing as long as you're not hurting anyone or inconveniencing them? If someone tries to do something that strays from the norm, even if it's just a slight difference, then it seems like everyone from the wedding industry to fellow brides acts like that person is committing the ultimate cardinal sin, simply for the fact that it isn't done in their tightknit social circle. If you want your wedding to be memorable and stand out to your guests, why have it be identical to the ones you've gone to before? Are some people just too afraid to step outside of the box for fear of the backlash they may get if they do so?
