We have a pavillion, ampitheathre and Gazebo and about 30 people coming, what do I do if it rains, sleets or snows?
Photos are going to be awful? Muddy? dark?
What now, too late to go anywhere else?

THERE IS NO TIME TO BOOK AN INDOOR LOCATION...EVERYONE IS BOOKED THROUGH FEB and the invites are sent and people are on the way from out of town.
Rush Wedding! Kids are moving out of town and want to marry at home with family and friends.

Well if it snows the pictures might actually look really pretty. I've also seen pictures where it is raining that look really good. Hopefully you have a good photographer that can edit and manipulate pictures. Just make sure you have umbrellas, a change of clothes, etc.
Pray for the best, plan for the worst.
Good Luck.

EDIT: Do any of these buildings have a roof and room for 30? I was just assuming that they did. If the Gazebo or the pavillion have a roof, maybe you could hang sheets or fabric from the ceiling all the way around to keep out the weather.

Since it's a smallish wedding (30 people) and you have a gazebo available I'd just go for it. You may want to make sure the ceremony is short and sweet- 15-20 minutes in case of bad weather (cut a reading or song out if bad weather and if good weather put it back in). Be sure that you have a good photographer and have them bring their lighting. (May cost extra, but worth it.)
Still, just think... if it snows a bit it'll make for BEAUTIFUL and unique pictures!!
Remember, it's the sentiment behind the day- you're going to spend your whole lives together. It's just a day- and no wedding ever was perfect.
Think of the rain/snow as a blessing from above. ;)

It snowed the day we were married and the pictures were not horrible. Everyone loved the outside shots. We did have an indoor wedding though. Just hope for the best! Good luck and best wishes.
Here are some of our pictures... including some in the snow!

A good photographer will deal with whatever situation and still give you beautiful photos. Snow would look gorgeous in the photos I think.
Sounds like you are borrowing trouble before it gets there. Just hope and pray for a nice day and if not, sounds like you have enough shelter.....I am sure it will still be lovely. Just do the best with what you have. It sounds like all you can do, at this stage. Good luck, I hope you have a clear day.

You can rent a tent and buy tons of Christmas lights. That way if the weather becomes a factor you will have a tent and you can string white or colored lights all over the tent poles, etc. to try to dress it up and provide a little shelter. This is a tough one, that's the best I can think of....

The only suggestion I have is look for a back up place that is indoors. Maybe you have a friend or relative that knows of something. Ask around.

If it's snowing, the pictures should turn out fine. Even if it rains. If you don't like the way they turn out, reschedule and have them done again on a nicer day.

pray for a cool day and think about renting heaters for the cold, the photographer should be able to take pics unter any circumstances. Congrats

if I may ask, why would you book an outside wedding in December, knowing the probabilities of rain or snow are so great??
