I think it's absolutely normal. I think if you don't think about something carefully and wonder if you are making the right choice, you haven't thought about it long enough. I am just getting engaged and am getting married next year. I have no doubts about my fiance or the wedding, but I do get a little scared when I think about the finality of it and what a big change it's going to bring in my life. There is nothing wrong with feeling nervous about that and taking some time to process this big shift in your life.

When I got married, my nerves were about things related to the wedding; worry that things would go smoothly. I never for a moment doubted that I was marrying the right man.
Honestly, if you are having doubts now, you should take them seriously and consider whether or not you are doing the right thing at the right time in your life. I'm not saying he's not the guy for you; but maybe with some premarital counseling (through your church, maybe?) would help to resolve any lingering doubts that you have.

Never had jitters, I knew all of the way from the moment he proposed to the minute we left our reception I made the right decision. I love my husband more than anything and I am 150% sre as I have always been that we are meant to be together forever.

Personally, I am nothing but stressed and excited. The jitters haven't hit me yet, but I hear they are quite common. Marriage is a huge step and a major adjustment---it shouldn't be entered into lightly.

I hear it's normal; honestly, I've never had "jitters", but maybe it's because I've accepted long ago that you can't ever be 100% sure, so I just don't expect to be. "Sure enough" is what I shoot for.
