We are getting married in a very small registery office this year - defently does not have what could be classed as aisle. They have asked us what music we would like but we have no idea especially as it will only need to be a few lines. Any suggestions would be great.

Whose name(s) [bride or groom] and who's address do we put on the invitations? I know it's normally the brides parents, but we are mainly doing this ourselves. Currently, we both have our own homes, but mostly living out of mine. Suggestions?

The dresses are bright green, its actually called "clover" I'm having a hard time finding the perfect shoes! Would bright pink or fushia be bad?

...who is more likely to win...?

Say you're getting married yet his sister hates you and his mother is very clingy - yet he won't believe it and chooses only to think positive things of them...who's more likely to win out of the whole thing?

Hello. I'm wondering if this would be acceptable or not. I have 5 siblings who are all married and have between 2-5 kids each. My Fiance has only 2 brothers 1 is not married and neither has kids. We are having a casual BBQ reception at our home a few months after we get married out of state and I want to invite only my siblings and their families, my parents and my aunts and uncles. I have literally 50 cousins and many of them I dont know or have never talked to. I dont want to invite them as they would also bring all their families and it would get to be too many people. My fiance though, wants to invite his aunts, uncles AND cousins. He has maybe only 10 or so. Would it be incredibly rude for us to invite his cousins and not mine? I just dont know the rules of etiquette regarding this type of thing.
THANKS

I thought all girls knew every detail of their wedding till I tried to decided what I want to do. (Google the word wedding and you'll see what I mean). This is were you all can help me. I want your opinion. Should we...
Elope. Just me and my man run off to a beautiful place and make a weekend of it.
Have a small intimate wedding. Run off with just our closest family and make a weekend out of it.
Get married at the court house and have a reception with alot of our friends and family immediately following the "I do."
I'm open for any kind of advice you're willing to give.

My engagement ring was stolen while I was on holiday (I had to take it off due to swollen fingers, my finger went blue) and it was taken from our hotel room. We have claimed on the insurance so have money to buy a new one, so my question is this, would you go for the same design as the original or would you go for something totally different?

I've tried Wilton's premade stuff and didn't care for it. I know you can make it at home but don't have the recipe.

My ex-husband and I have been divorced for 7 years. It was an amicable split and we have remained friends. Back in 2005, I purposely introduced him to a single friend of mine whom I met in 2003. They hit it off, and after a year of dating, they got in engaged over Christmas of 2006. He keeps thanking me for the introduction, as he never would have met his fiancee if not for me and tells me that I and my fiancee are invited to their wedding this November. I am very happy for them and would like to go...there's just one problem: his family really doesn't like me. I am afraid that this might cause a problem at their ceremony and reception. I know that my female friend, his fiancee, wants me to be there too. What should I do? Should I go, or should I graciously bow out to avoid any conflict starting because I am present? Has anyone else ever been faced with this dilema? And if I go, where should I be seated?? ANY help would be gratefully appreciated!

My fiance wants a beach wedding and her brother is a pastor and said that he would do it for free. All he needs is a car for when he flies down here from Michigan and I don't have one. Mine is in the shop and won't be done for a while. I think that a simple court wedding would be cheaper and less stressful, but she insists that she wants a beach wedding with all the family there. I just want something quick and easy. What do you think? Can you help us out? We are consistantly arguing about this.

I'm just confused. Why is it OK for couples to live together for years either before or after getting engaged, and they still have blow out weddings, bride wears white, etc.? Yet it's NOT ok for me to have a wedding of MY dreams (see my previous question post).

Also, why is it OK for divorced men and women to have ANOTHER wedding after they've already been married, once, twice, three times or more?

I am getting married in August of 2007. I am almost 5'2, not super skinny, but I weight about 115, I am very tone, but I dont have much of a butt and I have smaller breast. I dont like ''hoop skirts'' I like sleek and sexy maybe silk form fitting dresses. What will look best on my figure. There are pics of me on my 360 profile. Thank you!

So I have just 2 people that i have to have in my bridal party. TJ(my fiance) wants me to include his 2 sisters, whom I dont really know that well, we are completly different and have nothing in common. But TJ has 3 groomsman already, so If I add his two sisters he will have to find another groomsman. What should I do. Either way as it stands we have odd numbers. He has to have those 3 and so I have a nother friend I could ask but what should I do about his sisters?

Last night my boyfriend was asked by his best friend's mother when he planned to pop the question to me (yeah, she's very nosey). He told her he didn't want to rush anything. To make a long story short she reminded him we've been dating for over a year and have lived together almost a year and that's no longer considered a "rush". He told her he wanted to get some things straightened out money-wise before any long term commitments were made. The thing that makes me confused about this is that he just bought a new $1100 56" TV, a $300 stand for the new TV, an Xbox 360 for $400, he bought new furniture last year right before I moved in that was $2300 (couch, love seat, end tables, and coffee table), and just got a '99 Chevy Tahoe a few days ago for $8100. The only thing he really needed was the new truck. He can definitely afford these things but, obviously, it'll be a while before everything is "straightened out". Does he just not want to marry me?
