...who is more likely to win...?
Say you're getting married yet his sister hates you and his mother is very clingy - yet he won't believe it and chooses only to think positive things of them...who's more likely to win out of the whole thing?

Just to confirm, no-one is asking him to choose!
I was just wondering, if situations occur, i.e. mum or sister says something or is nasty, do I have a leg to stand on or will he just believe them regardless?? That was really a statement but interesting to hear others opinions...

Apparently he's still choosing his family over you?
A BIG red flag here.
A man is to leave his family, not forget they exist, but unite with his wife and they are to become one.
If he chooses his family over you......you will probably NEVER win.
I would seriously re-think this relationship.

Its not about winning but in the end they will win.
sounds like a mummy's boy and there is no hope there
I had the same problem with my ex husband and to be honest they got what they wanted hence the word EX husband.
I'm happier now than i was then
the way i do things now is i have 2 families my family which is my other half and my kids that comes first
then i have my other family which is mum dad etc
I'm sorry to say it but i really don't think that it is going to work for you luv unless he has some sort of acknowledgement of the situation
the way you have to look at it is
Do you want to spend the rest of your life married to this situation
Do you love him enough to put up with it til Death do us part

From the get go boundaries have to be sent. It's hard but you and your husband have to do this together. Unless it's something that is truly interrupting your lives best to try to keep the peace. It is his Mother@ sis so he's going to balk at any negative things you tell him. Like I said if it's not important let it go. Your not even married yet so trend carefully as everyone , even Mom's get pre wedding jitters Remember you have to know when to pick your fight. Good luck

Do you just think up questions? If your're not in the situation best not to think too much about it. You are in danger of eventually believing it to a certain extent and this would just cause problems all round. If you're in-laws to be are okay then treat them the same way. To be honest sounds as if you are unsure of your partner if these things are coming in to your head.

the answer to ur question is u will loose if u think someone is going to win. Don't be negative at the end of the day he wants to marry u and there will always be his family there, u have to accept it now or never
hope things work out

Don't get married unless you want to argue everyday with him about not being number one in his life. Wait until he has realized that his family isn't as rosey as he thinks. If you get married you just might end up on Dr Phil.

You lost me at boyfriends' sisters', mothers', girlfriends/wives...?
No seriously, that's too much drama if you're competing with these other people. If you're not first in his life then get out before it gets really ugly & you find yourself all alone.
