I have the actual wooden backdrop piece. It is a 3 piece (medium size) lattice frame in white. Its all connected together, its about the length of a long rectangular table. Does anyone have any ideas on how to decorate it. Our colors are red and white and also a touch of pink.

I met my new friend (we'll call her Jane) in September of 2006 when she was hired to work at my company. After the first couple of months we became really close. I now consider her to be one of my very best friends. I got engaged and started planning my wedding about 4 months before I met her. My wedding is in June (2 months away) and I really would like to ask her to be in my wedding. Adding her to the wedding party would affect things like having to order an extra bouquet, etc. Do you think I should ask her?

My sister is in a bridal party for my brother's upcoming wedding. The other bridesmaids, all from the bride's side, have excluded her from things from the beginning. Planning things and not telling her, ordering food and favors without her input, etc. All they wanted from her was her money for her share of the expenses. At the wedding shower they were talking about her (several of us heard them). My sister felt extremely annoyed and uncomfortable while at the shower and decided to sit at our family's table instead of helping the bride with the opening of the gifts. Now the bride is upset with my sister and doesn't even want her to be in the wedding. Was my sister right given how the other bridesmaids have been treating her?

Since my wedding and reception will be held in the same place and the wedding doesn't start until 4:30, I'm thinking about having the rehearsal the morning of the wedding and having breakfast served directly after (the caterer I'm using has his own banquet hall and could easily prepare breakfast for the 19 of us in the wedding party). I'm just wondering if that will be pushing it since everyone will need to go home and change and then come back. However there are very nice rooms - with bathrooms - upstairs, I could invite everyone to get dressed there. Do you think that's "too much" on one day?

Where is the best place to get these kind of clothes (mostly just t-shirts)? Every place wants to charge like an arm and a leg because, just like everyone says, if a product has any mention of a wedding the company basically doubles their price. Is it better/cheaper to do it online or at a store. If you say at a store, then what store? I live in kansas city, MO. Thanks for the help.

Getting married abroad next year with a party when we get back I have 2 friends getting married here this year and they are so stressed and highly strung I'm dreading getting into the planning of mine.

Does it have to be the mega stress?

I had the misfortune of getting engaged to a Filipina, and as soon as we were engaged, she started asking for money for her family. I would send her money to help her get a passport, and instead, she would give it to her family. The engagement is over, but I just have to wonder what the heck is going through their heads that they expect the guy to support not only her but her parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces.

My hubby and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 3/2008. We'd like to renew our vows to reaffirm our love and commitment to each other. We seperated for a few years and have reconciled and we are both more mature and much happier this time around. We got married very, very young and think that our 10 year anniversary would be a great time to reaffirm our feelings and commitment to each other with our children and our family. I'd like to start planning as soon as possible (I probably already should have started), but I'm not really sure what to do or how to do it. I don't know what is acceptable and not. I know it's not our first wedding, so it will be a little different because we are already legally married, but what is proper etiquette here? Thanks for any advice!

My younger sister will be my maid of honor, she's 15 now and will be 16 shortly before the wedding. I know she's going to want to help, but i don't think she is quite old enough for all of the maid of honor duties. I also have a matron of honor. I was wondering what i could give my little sister to do to help, without making her feel like i'm treating her like a little kid, but still not giving her full responability for extrememly important things.

He told me that he loved me on last sunday and as for me its like a dream come true. He s my 1st love and im crazy about him. We talk, exchange messages and say we love each other all the time. My boyfriend just proposed to me! I am really excited! He is wonderful. The only thing is that I am in the middle of an odd situation with one of my friends. I have decided to drop out of her wedding because her fiance was hitting on me and has cheated on her a lot. I didn't feel comfortable being in her wedding party because of the way he talked to me and tried to put his hands on me when he had a little too much to drink. I keep feeling guilty because I am happy and I know she isn't. I haven't even told her yet that I am engaged. I don't know how to tell her without seeming like I am bragging that I have it so much better than her, even though I know I do. It's so wierd that this happened all at the same time, but it did and I don't know what to do!!!

Any good ideas for where to have a rehearsal dinner in Westminster Colorado? Where did you have yours? Restaurant? Park? What did you eat? Are you supposed to pay for drinks for your guests?

Has anyone ever heard of a Monogrammed bridal shower before? The theme would be to have your friends and family personalize their gifts with the bride's "new initals." I have lived with my fiance for a yr and a half, and I didn't want the normal shower. We already own a lot of the housewarming gifts you would regularly receive... What do ya think?
