My sister is geting married on a small budget too and said she was looking on an Ebay shop. It was located abroad but they did made to measure dresses at a good price. Might be worth looking. Good luck!

theknot.com is a wedding planner web page.
You could prob find an actual wedding planner (person) on there too if that's what you need.
Cheapest place I could find was David's bridal and I am 5"4 and a size 16 so I am right there with you!! David's was the cheapest- I got my dress on clearance for $650 instead of $1,200 but They have $99-200 dress as well if you want even cheaper. Lets face it- We are both just going to have to get the dress hem, no matter what!! I tried on about 10 dress in 6 different stores and ALL of them are way too long. They all have to be hemmed... they do it on purpose to save themselves money... because if they made petite dresses they would lose money.

Try Debenhams or Monsoon or BHS as they usually have some very nice wedding dresses as you are on a budget and you could also try the website http://www.confetti.co.uk/fashionbeauty/fashion_search/dress_search/
as you might be able to find something on there. Also there is a forum and someone might be able to put you in touch with an online wedding planner

I just bought my wedding dress from a designer off of Ebay. I have to say that I am impressed with the quality and design. It was much more beautiful than I expected... I spend under 250.00 and that included custom sizing and shipping...
Their customer service is great. They will do custom sizing and customize your dress if you need something else done... The delivery time is great about 4 weeks, and the dress was a perfect fit.
If they don't have a dress that you like you can even send them what you'd like and they will try to make it for you

The sellers name is gloria-bridalstudio
Congrats

I bought my dress from Alfred Angelo, it cost $450 but because my bridesmaids also got their dresses there, I only paid $300. I think that's fairly inexpensive for a brand new dress. One thing I like about Alfred Angelo is that any dress in their store can be purchased in your size (up to 28). The dress in the link below is what I bought, simple and elegant - not to fussy or frilly and I'm about the same size as the model in the picture. Good luck.

Try Monsoon and Debenhams, they have some gorgeous dresses for reasonable prices. Alternatively try buying a dress that isn't specifically classed as a wedding dress in a pale colour, it'll be cheaper.

I'm buying my dress from the bridalwear company. (www.thebridalwearcompany.co.uk) They have an amazing selection and I managed to get my skirt, bodice, petticoat and satin bolero jacket for just over £400. They send the dress directly to you and their service is fantastic. Absolutely worth looking at. They stock dresses from size 8-36 so I know you will find one that you will love. Congratulations! xxx

Brandy -
I love love love that dress - it is exactly the one I am thinking about buying! I have only seen it as the style 1505, but I am more of the size of the model in the 1505W and it looks great on that body type too! Thanks!

David's Bridal is having their $99 wedding gown sell.
You don't want an online wedding planner. You need someone near you so yu can have things done right.
