We got married on Aug 23. I didn't sleep from the morning of the 22nd to the evening of the 24th. At that point, I passed out on the waterbed in the honeymoon suite. My husband ran the water for the hottub, and I vaguely remember him trying to get me in there, but I was dreaming of getting the dress off the bear on the bedspread and onto my junior bridesmaid because "noone was helping her dress" and I didn't have time because I had to get myself dressed. (In real life, I put her sisters in charge of dressing her and her little brother, who was my ring bearer) And while I'm spazzing out in my dream about getting the dress off the bear and onto Jessica, my husband is wondering what exactly he got himself into.

after the wedding reception we went to a local hotel suite and we were both do drunk that we didnt even consumate the marriage, the next morning however... then we went out to breakfest with our wedding party and ya know it really didnt feel any diffrent from before, but when we were finally able to go on our honeymoon 4 months later (got married in april)(were farmers and there were fields that had to be planted first) thats when I felt like wow were married and it felt so nice just to know that i was married to this wounderful man who truly loves me. I love being married, ya it had its up and downs but way more ups after you have children.

Yeah well, chances of you having sex on your wedding night if you're planning it for low cost... arrrre pretty much slim to none unless you've got some magically stored energy or are marrying a crack induced barbie doll.
Really though, for a girl, the only difference is not signing my own last name anymore... that feels good... and also the releif of
OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY OVER YAY NO MORE WEDDING PLANNING- oh no people want us to have kids.
Such is life. It's basically planning. Planning for college, planning for marrige, planning for a house, planning for kids, planning for their schooling + college, planning for retirement...
But it all comes very naturally when you agree on something with your spouce. Me...
I'm still trying to get him to approve on navy blue curtains.

Okay this may sound cheesy, but I'm being honest....
We were both finally snug in bed at the hotel and I felt like I was in a dream. I was just floating with happiness (and no, I was not intoxicated either).
It's a feeling I won't forget! Thanks for reminding me about it :)
