Where is the best place to get these kind of clothes (mostly just t-shirts)? Every place wants to charge like an arm and a leg because, just like everyone says, if a product has any mention of a wedding the company basically doubles their price. Is it better/cheaper to do it online or at a store. If you say at a store, then what store? I live in kansas city, MO. Thanks for the help.

Sorry for not being a bit clearer. Places sell tshirts on them that say "bride" or "Just Married"- usually people get some for the wedding party too. They are not for the actual wedding. The bride one is for pre-wedding, and the Just Married one is to wear post-wedding.

I see that some have already mentioned Cafepress....

http://www.cafepress.com/buy/wedding?pid=5720193

That link takes you to the wedding search, but you can search for bride, groom, personalized wedding, etc.

If you go to one of my shops, either Occasions For You at http://www.occasionsforyou.com or The Hot Tees at http://www.thehottees.com and check out the sidebar, there will be 3 different coupons there that you can use at Cafepress.

One is $10 off of $25- so you might buy a shirt for $25, but it will only cost you $15 plus shipping (right now we ship the first 5 products for 5 bucks- some restrictions apply though so check it out)

AND the coupons are reusable- if you need more than one shirt, it MAY be cheaper to order each one seperately and use the coupon over and over.

I know that these two shops do personalized wedding designs, but MAKE SURE that you contact them first if you find something you like. The instructions are on the page with the designs. They have to know what name/design that you want printed.

Lorilei's Shop is http://www.cafepress.com/lorilei/271830?pid=5720193

Peacock's Shop is http://www.cafepress.com/peacockcards/315520?pid=5720193

Those links take you to their personalized wedding sections.

Congratulations and good luck by the way!

If you're even a little crafty, you can make them yourself. Buy whatever kind of tee shirts your normally wear in a plain solid color, then use iron on transfers from the craft store to make your own. You could even get special paper to make your own iron on transfers - design something on your computer and print it out, then iron it on to your tee shirt. That way you get exactly what you want and it's not that expensive.

Also, if you can't print out iron on transfers, you could print out what you want on regular paper and trace it onto your fabric. (You may need a lightbox for this, or you could do it against a bright sunny window and trace the design lightly with a pencil) Then fill in with fabric paint.

The upside of this is not only will it be cheaper, but you can get the kind of clothing you want and have the designs you want instead of being locked into someone else's designs and colors.

If you don't want to do it yourself, check here:

you can go somewhere like walmart and get plain matching tshirts and go to the craft section and get paint for clothes, they have jewels you can iron on, iron on letters, embroidered letter, lots of things to create your own. you can make hats or anything else you want. Michaels is a good place to get that sort of thing as well--they sell plain tshirts, hats, bags, etc.
if you want them for the wedding party, make a party out of it and have each one make their own.
some party stores might have them already made. i dont know it you something like party city or factory card outlet. ive seen them there sometimes.

I would make them myself if you have an iron and a package of Hanes T shirts or tank tops. Or try ebay, they usually have stuff like that for pretty cheap. They are all over online, you just have to search for the best deal.

Maybe she wants to wear it...duh! eesh.

Have you tried E-Bay?
There are a lot of online stores on E-bay that advertise cheaper clothes with the whole, "Mrs. Smith" or "Just Married" theme.

Just go to E-bay and search through E-Bay stores. I found one that had embroidered hooded jackets for like $25.
