I have the actual wooden backdrop piece. It is a 3 piece (medium size) lattice frame in white. Its all connected together, its about the length of a long rectangular table. Does anyone have any ideas on how to decorate it. Our colors are red and white and also a touch of pink.

What time of year is your wedding taking place? Summer or spring, you could decorate it with vines and flowers matching your colors. You could also add tulle and white lights to give it a nice, soft, romantic look. If it's a winter wedding, you may try poinsettia flowers (I believe you can find them in both red and white) along with the white lights and greenery. Just a couple of suggestions.

We used an arch as part of the entry way into our reception. Our reception had a Mediterranean theme so we used the pointed, Mediterranean arch way and I decorated it with grape vines and a really pretty, sheer lavender fabric.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Where did you get the backdrop piece? I plan on doing the exact same thing for my wedding. My plan is, using white christmas lights woven into the lattice frame, using "pew bows" with swags of tulle draped between them, and hanging ivy garland.

What are you interested in? How did you meet? Try to incorporate something like that into your backdrop. How about a picture of the two of you as babies together, they can do that now by computer, then put it on the backdrop, that would be really cute. Then underneath you can put Together Forever then your names and your wedding date. Just an idea...congratulations!!

How about two large bunches of flowers at each corner on the top and attaching a bolt of fabric so it hangs in a swag in the center and drapes dramatically to the floor where it gathers and you have two more flower arrangments?

You could put pictures of the two of you during your dating to showcase on there...along with white Christmas lights. Would look great!

Balloons, but that depends on the rest of your decoration.
