Any good ideas for where to have a rehearsal dinner in Westminster Colorado? Where did you have yours? Restaurant? Park? What did you eat? Are you supposed to pay for drinks for your guests?

I have been to a couple different styles. I have been to those in restaurants and even some at the family home of the bride/groom. These do not have to be formal and you are really free to do whatever you want. Mine was at a restaurant and was buffet, we offered drinks such as tea coffee water (I think you could offer everyone a glass of wine or a drink but should not have to carry the bill for the night). . Following dinner my father in law gave a quick thank you and then we passed gifts out to the bridal party. Then eveyone left and went and did their own thing. Below are a few sites to check out.

Didn't have a dinner. The rehearsal was in the evening, so my sister hosted a party after at her home with drinks and snackies.
If you are having a rehearsal dinner out somewhere, you are responsible for all food and drinks.

My daughters wedding rehearsal dinner is at a Golf Club and we're having a catered dinner. They have a choice of either steak or chicken and it comes with cheesy potatoes, lettuce salad, dinner rolls and palm tree sugar cookie. It's going to have a Jamaican theme because the kids are going to Jamaica for their honeymoon. We are having drink tickets where everyone gets one free drink....if they want more they have to pay for them. Best of luck!!!

go to www.theknot.com and click on chat, you can go to your local area board and they will have lots of suggestions. We had ours in a small restuarant, we just had them serve wine and soda since we had a pasta bar (several kinds of pasta, several kinds of sauces, and different meats, shrimp, chicken, meatballs). Remember this is not your reception, just a dinner the night before.
